Submit an idea on The Teachers Guild to help students become civically powerful
Election season is upon us. It’s a time when we are reminded that our voice and our vote matters. As a network of educators, we’ve been asking what our role is in supporting students to understand their civic power, exercise their voice, and take action on the issues they care about.

That’s why, in partnership with ASCD, we’re working with some incredible organizations in civic education to challenge you to help reshape the future of civic education. Together, we're asking you:

How might we prepare our students to be civically powerful and use their unique voices to address issues that matter to them?

Jump in to the Collaboration and share your ideas with us!

Share your ideas to create #MindblowingSTEM
Ten of the top 14 fastest-growing industries require significant know-how in STEM. But, these industries won’t just perpetuate themselves. They need the next generation of creative problem solvers. As teachers, you are the makers of the next generation of makers. And that’s why today, The Teachers Guild is asking for your ideas to answer the question:

How might we cultivate curiosity and problem-solving in our students through active and authentic STEM?

The Teachers Guild is a creative collaborative out of IDEO and the Riverdale Country School. We’ve also invited nine other partners to join us on this STEM Collaboration. They can’t wait to support you by mentoring your ideas and are excited to support these solutions after the Collaboration ends. These partners include: 4.0 Schools, Autodesk, Bay Area Discovery Museum, California Academy of Sciences, High Tech High, Noble Network, Science with Tom, Spring Branch Independent School District, Steelcase, and WGBH.
