Chris is the Digital Learning Coach at the Sanborn Elementary School in Andover, Massachusetts. Chris received his B.A. in English Literature from Saint Michael’s College in Burlington, VT and his M.A. in Teaching from Simmons College. In a previously life, Chris taught high school English for five years in a BYOD district. Chris holds MA licenses in Instructional Technology, English Language Arts (5-12), and is currently pursuing a K-6 Leadership certification.
In 2013, Chris co-designed and implemented WHSConnect, the student technology and innovation team at Wakefield Memorial High School (www.whsconnect.org, @whsconnect) and helped coordinate the now nationally recognized PLN, #TechTeamMA.
Chris serves on MassCUE's Professional Development Committee and has presented numerous times at various MassCUE events, including their annual Fall and Spring conferences. His writing on digital learning and literacy has been published on several websites and blogs, most notably Edutopia.org.
